French pianist Alexandre Tharaud is acclaimed as a modern ‘poet of the piano’. Tharaud became well-known for his role as an outstanding pianist in the French film Amour – winner of the Palme d’Or at the 65th Cannes Film Festival in 2012. Tharaud’s unique music interpreatations always imbue the works he plays with sheer originality. This time, he will perform the lyrical Piano Concertos by Edvard Grieg, with the delicate Symphony No.8 by Beethoven, bringing pure joy to the audience.
