The famous Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra is an ‘all-star’ team in the hearts of music enthusiasts around the globe. This season we are proud to invite the leader of these ‘all-stars’, concertmaster Rainer Honeck, to perform with OM two concerts featuring Beethoven and Mozart works on his 1709 Stradivari violin. With a maestro, famous violin and famous work, this will surely be a memorable experience for music fans. With three select pieces, The ‘Beethoven Concert’ arguably covers Beethoven’s most classic works: the overture to his only opera, Fidelio; one of the ‘world’s four greatest violin concertos’, Violin Concerto in D Major; and his celebrated ‘Symphony of Destiny’, Symphony No. 5.
