With Christmas fast approaching, Macao Orchestra cordially invites you to enjoy an evening of seasonal favourites including excerpts from: Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, Vivaldi’s Winter from The Four Seasons, Waldteufel’s Skaters’ Waltz as well as music from the Harry Potter films and Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music to create just the right mood. The fast emerging conductor, Maestro Qian Junping, who studied at the Curtis Institute of Music and winner of the 2017 International Conducting Competition “Jeunesses Musicales” in Bucharest, Romania, will be at the helm to lead us into the spirit of celebrating the Christmas Season.
