Zhang Taiyan

Zhang Taiyang graduated from the Department of Music at Augsburg College and the College of Music Nuremberg, receiving a Master’s Degree in Music and a Master Class diploma for Advanced Performers in 2006 and 2008, respectively.

From 2007 to 2010, he worked for the renowned Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra as the first Chinese musician of the Orchestra. He was an award winner in the Hummel Cello Competition in Germany and a successful candidate in the world renowned InternationalPablo Casals Cello Competition. He joined the Macao Orchestra as a cellist since 2010.
