To celebrate romanticism, Macao Orchestra Music Director and Principal Conductor Lu Jia will join forces with internationally renowned first-class pianist Kirill Gerstein to present Schubert’s Ninth Symphony and Rachmaninoff’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini. Schubert’s work embodied the continuation and renaissance of the classical tradition in the romantic period and Rachmaninoff offers a wonderful dialogue between two generations of virtuoso piano masters. It will be indeed a much-anticipated performance!
